Riverwalk

There's a large mall, Riverwalk, on the shore of the river.  It's a nice place for a mall, except for the occasional freighter that crashes into it.  (Note the menacing freighter in the background.)

   DECEMBER 14, 1996
RIVERWALK WAS STRUCK
BY THE FREIGHTER
BRIGHT FIELD
IN AN UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT.
Thankfully there were no fatalities.
It made news around the world.  And it
prompted an immediate and overwhelming
local response from a coordinated team
of city and state agencies, as well as an
outpouring of support from the
New Orleans community.
An album containing photos and
news clippings of the accident, as well
as the recovery and reopening process
is located inside Riverwalk, at
the base of the A to B up
escalator across from
[...photo cut off...]

This is what the Riverwalk mall looks like from the point of view of a ship about to crash into it (no ships or shopping malls were harmed in the production of this photo).
